Your Data & Privacy

EmailSig stores your signature data exclusively in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is ever sent to a server. Here is exactly what is stored:

  • Signature fields — name, job title, company, email, phone, website, address and social links.
  • Template & styling preferences — selected template, primary colour, font size, font family and spacing.
  • Uploaded images — photos and logos are converted to base64 data URIs and stored locally. They never leave your device.
  • UI preferences — whether you have dismissed the save reminder banner.

Clearing your browser data or using private/incognito mode will remove all stored data. You can also use the "Reset all fields" button in the editor to clear everything manually.

Is this really free?

Yes, completely. There are no paid plans, no feature gates and no limits on how many signatures you can create.

Do I need to create an account?

Will my signature look the same in every email client?
